Peregrine House staff are trained in dementia care and we welcome residents with this condition. We ensure they are treated with the utmost dignity and respect while keeping them safe within the home.

One of our assistant deputy managers, Melony Stephenson, is our Dementia Champion and she is always on hand to make sure Peregrine House is dementia friendly. Together we continually review the home’s environment, adapting to keep it is as safe as it can be for your loved one.

Peregrine House is an old building and not a purpose-built facility, however, we have an excellent reputation as a dementia-friendly home and we strive to help those residents live a meaningful and fulfilling life despite their condition.
